Join us for an enlightening session where you’ll gain valuable insights and tips on best practices for promoting financial wellness in the workplace. Discover the resources available for small, medium, and large businesses to foster a financially healthy and resilient workforce.

Gain insights from distinguished speakers such as Magellan EAP, Bank of America, and Business Community Leaders of Texas. The session will also include a comprehensive case study on the City of Austin, shedding light on their approach to supporting employees’ financial wellbeing.

 

Speakers:

 

Grant Lee has 30 plus years of experience in managed Behavioral Health Care, Employee Assistance Program and Wellness operations. Grant currently serves as the NI EAP Account Executive responsible for working with NI to continually assess and identify opportunities to strengthen outcomes for Magellan EAP services.

Oscar Tirado works as process design consultant with the Academy, which as a team oversees all onboarding and skill development at Bank of America. He is celebrating 24 years with the bank and has served in various talent development roles for a majority of his tenure. Currently he supports the credit skills portfolio and is a Better Money Habits Ambassador, presenting various financial wellness topics to local community partners.

Raquel Valdez has a passion is building strong communities by promoting balanced economic opportunities for homeowners, small business owners, and consumers through her 18 years of professional and personal work with statewide nonprofit economic development organization Business & Community Lenders of Texas. Raquel is a fifth generation Austinite and volunteers her time to a variety of organizations, include the FDIC’s Alliance of Economic Inclusions, Austin ISD Parent Champion program, and the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber as a former board member.

Chris Vykukal is a health educator with over 13 years of health and wellness experience. Chris began his health & wellbeing journey as an Infantry Paratrooper in the US Army where he was cross trained as a squad medic and received his EMT license. After leaving the Army, he graduated with honors from Texas State University and received his bachelor’s in health and Wellness Promotion. Chris has worked in employee wellness for the past 8 years and currently manages the City of Austin employee wellness program, HealthyConnections.
